EBooks on the way, physical books to be ordered soon!

Hello Backers! 

I have exciting news! This afternoon we have finalized the book! That means we were able to export an ebook version as well as one that's ready for print.  We are fulfilling this project through Backerkit so expect to receive an email later today with information on how to download your PDF if you ordered one. 

I've been communicating with the printers and we are currently in the process of deciding which paper to use.  This is something I'm quite particular about so it's been a few days of back and forth and we're not quite there yet. I'll update you as soon as we've placed the order. Unfortunately it seems that there is a significant shortage of paper in Canada, so it's possible this project will be a little delayed, but I'll let you know when we can expect this project once I've finalized everything with our printers.

Backerkit Surveys and project update!

Hello backers! 

I hope you are all doing well.  I'm writing to let you know that surveys will be sent out through Backerkit in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that in your inbox!  Please do let me know if you have any issues accessing Backerkit, I'm happy to help. 

As for the book itself, we're currently on draft 3, and I expect that we'll likely have a couple more drafts to go until we can send it to the printers. It's looking really great and Madeline is still finding little things here and there that they want to add, so it's going to be even more special than we had originally anticipated. 

Once we get the survey responses in I'll be ordering all of the add-ons and once we get them in the studio I'll send you all a fresh update.

Campaign is over, what next??

Hi folks! 

Thanks so much for all your support with this campaign!  It ended officially on Tuesday afternoon and we were so glad to see we made it to our first stretch goal.   Madeline is wrapping up the last of the colouring and very soon we'll be moving onto book assembly.   I also want to let you all know that we'll be doing our surveys through Backerkit. I won't have it set up for another few weeks but just a heads up that that's how we'll be proceeding. 

I'll update you more as soon as more progress is made!

Hello backers! 

There are only 2 hours left to support Madeline's Good Dirt and Junk Collection!  We're so excited that we've made it past the first stretch goal and we're almost at the finish line of this campaign.  I was hoping to update you all sooner but Vancouver has been experiencing the most intense heatwave, I've been hiding out for the last two days trying to stay cool. It was 40 degrees Celcius in my part of town, that's 104 Fahrenheit!    Now that it's cooler I'm back to say thank you for all your support, and if you know of anyone who might want to pledge, please don't hesitate to share this project with your friends, family, and followers!

I'll be back in a couple of hours once the campaign is finished!

Only 4 days left!

Hello Backers! 

We only have 4 days left on this campaign and we're getting really close to the first stretch goal.  We only need to raise an extra $500 to unlock a pay bonus for Madeline plus an extra special thank you to everyone! What does that mean?  It means we'll be including a super fun extra fold-out art print in every single Kickstarter order! 

Madeline has illustrated this gorgeous little map of forbidden fruits that can be found in Vancouver, and if we make it to that first stretch goal, everyone who's ordered a physical copy is getting a print folded up and tucked into their book!

I want to thank everyone who has pledged their support of this project.  If you haven't already, don't forget to share this project with your friends, family, and followers!
